About Me

My photo
I'm a total bookworm and a romantic at heart. I'm also a little bit of a paranormal nerd so I absolutely love books that are about creatures of the night and allow me to submerge myself into a world of fantasy.

Teaser Tuesday -2

My Teaser for this week is from Dark Slayer by Christine Feehan. Here it is :) :

"He grinned at her, an evil, malicious smile. 'You have become arrogant, Slayer. And careless. You had no idea the trap was for you and not your precious wolves. You have no choice but to give me what I want, or you die this night.' "

Rules:
1) Grab your current read
2) Open to a random page
3) Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
4) BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
5) Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

Oh oh oh... does she die? LOL - of course she will fight it! They always do! I've one of Christine's books on my TBR shelf. Looks like it needs to move up in the line!

    Thanks

Let's go back to 19th century China! From"The Splendid Concubine," which is a dramatic, romantic adventure, as well as a tragic love story. (Here's more information on China and the time period. Very interesting stuff, especially for people who like historical fiction.)

“I had a concubine once,” Robert said in a low voice, so the eunuchs couldn’t record what he said for the Imperial archives. It was a chapter out of his life that few knew of, and he wanted to share it with this Empress.

The book is by Lloyd Lofthouse.
